TERI Report on Climate Proofing Guwahati, Assam City resilience strategy and Mainstreaming Plan

The city of Guwahati in Assam, India was an integral part of the assessment to identify channels for integrating adaptation and disaster risk reduction measures in planning and development. The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) together with the Asian Cities Climate Change Resilience Network (ACCCRN), and have assessed the risk and vulnerability of the city and prepared a detailed City Resilience Strategy (CRS). The focus of the assessment is to facilitate adaptation initiatives and mainstream them into the city development paradigm to make Guwahati city more resilient and prepared for hazards.
